Warranty on Devices Purchased Through eBay

eBay offers two types of sales:  Buy It Now and online auctions.  The warranty is different between the two types of sales.

• Buy It Now is the purchase of 'new in box' items from legitimate stores on eBay. Purchases using this option will receive the full Garmin product warranty (including recertified products sold at the retail level which have a one year warranty).

• Products that are purchased from eBay auction sales are not covered by Garmin warranty.

A Proof of Purchase will be required in order to verify the purchase is eligible for the full Garmin product warranty.  The Proof of Purchase is a copy of the original sales receipt from the original retailer.

Online auction confirmations are not accepted for warranty verification and Garmin will not replace any missing components from any package purchased through an online auction.
