Can I Change the Default Widget on my vivosmart 5?
The vivosmart 5 watch defaults to the Time and Date widget by design. In the Garmin Connect app you will have the ability to customize the widget loop list, but Time and Date will remain as the first widget. To customize the widget loop:
Open the Garmin Connect app.
Open the app menu by selecting More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Select vivosmart 5.
Select Appearance.
Select Widgets.
Time and Date will remain at the top by default.
To customize the order of the widgets, hold
while you drag the widget up or down and position them the way you prefer.To remove a widget from the list, select
.To add a widget to the list, select
.Sync your device to save changes.
Although the Time and Date widget location cannot be changed, you can change the Time and Date watch face to show steps, heart rate, weather, etc. For steps on how to change the watch face please see: Changing the Watch Face.
