1. Launch the Garmin Drive app
2. Touch Videos and Photos. If prompted to connect to the Wi-Fi network, touch Connect.
3. Tap the select icon 
to choose what categories of footage are displayed, then select the desired video or photo

Managing Dash Cam Videos from an Android Device with the Garmin Drive App
You can view, save, share, or delete dash cam videos and pictures taken from your compatible device on your Android phone using the Garmin Drive App. For instructions to connect your device with the Garmin Drive app see the owner's manual.
1. Select the desired video or photo in the Garmin Drive app
You can also delete a video or photo by touching and holding the video or photo and then touching the 
Trash icon.
2. Trim the video as desired by touching and dragging the arrows on either side of the timeline. Skip this step for photos.
3. Touch the right arrow
The app will prepare the video for export (keep the Drive app in the foreground during this process). This can take several minutes, depending on the length of the clip. When finished, it will say, Your Clip is Ready!
- Skip this step for photos.
- The video or photo will upload to the Garmin Vault when connected to an active Wi-Fi connection.
4. If desired, save the video or photo to your phone
5. To view or share your video or photo:
- Go to your Photos on your phone, select the desired video or photo and select any sharing options your phone has.
- Go to the Garmin Vault, see Using the Vault Storage with a Garmin Dash Cam Device.
NOTE: Videos files export at a higher resolution (.mp4 file format). For more information on the types of video files the dash cam records, see: GLV Files on Garmin Dash Cams.
If you are experiencing poor resolution after exporting video files ensure that the latest version of the Garmin Drive App is running on your phone. All updates are downloaded via the App Store or Google Play Store.
