What is Pacing?
“Pace”, the term we usually use to explain how fast we run, represents “the time taken to run 1 kilometer or 1 mile.” Take Taiwan where Metric is more popular as an example, when one describes his/her current pace as 6-minute pace, it means he/she is running at a rate of 6 minutes per kilometer.
“Speed”, the term we usually associate with vehicle speed, is more often used to explain how fast we ride, representing “the kilometers or miles you travel in an hour.” Take the U.S. where Statute is more popular as an example, when one describes his/her current speed is 15 miles/hour, that indicates he/she will probably complete 15 miles in an hour.
