Professional Account Activate an inReach Device Into Suspend
Activate Into Suspend is a Professional account-only option that allows the administrator to activate an inReach® device into a suspended state.
This option is helpful for those that want to add an inReach device to their account ahead of time, and set it up prior to its expected use (for example, organizations who use their devices seasonally or during emergencies).
Note: Activation fee and $5 monthly suspend fee, subject to tax, still apply.
IMPORTANT: SOS and messaging do not work for devices that are suspended.
Activating Into Suspend:
- From the Plans & Devices tab, select Add Device
- Input the IMEI number and Auth. Code
- If you have an additional device you wish to Activate Into Suspend, select Add Another.
- From the Data Plan drop-down, select Professional Flex Suspend or Byte-based Suspend
