"Garmin Express Is Not Compatible With Your Operating System" Error
The Garmin Express™ is not compatible with your operating system message may appear if the computer does not meet the minimum system requirements to run the Garmin Express program, or the Garmin Express program's installation file is set to run in compatibility mode.
NOTE: Chromebooks and Linux-based operating systems are not compatible with the installation of Garmin Express software.
Verify That the Computer Meets the Minimum System Requirements for Garmin Express Software:
Contact Microsoft or Apple for steps on how to check the computer's specifications.
Windows | MacOS/OSX |

If the computer requirements are NOT met, use a different computer that meets the requirements.
Mac:
If the computer requirements are not met on a Mac computer, use a different computer as compatibility mode cannot be changed on a Mac.
Windows:
If the computer requirements are met on a Windows computer, ensure compatibility mode is disabled on a Windows computer by following the steps below.
1. Go to the Downloads folder.
2. Right-click on the Garmin Express installer file.
3. Select Properties.
4. Click the Compatibility tab.
5. Click Change settings for all users.
6. Ensure that all boxes are unchecked.
7. Click OK.
Once this setting has been changed, attempt to install Garmin Express again by following How Do I Install Garmin Express? The error message will no longer appear.
