Tracks Not Appearing in Import Option on Garmin Connect

The fēnix® and tactix® outdoor watches are capable of recording tracks as GPX, FIT or GPX/FIT files. Tracks recorded as FIT files appear in the upload list when choosing the Import option in Garmin Connect™ web. GPX files will not appear automatically, and will need to be manually uploaded. Setting track recording method

  1. Press the Enter button
  2. Select Setup
  3. Select Tracks
  4. Select Output

Selecting either FIT or GPX/FIT will allow activities to appear in Garmin Connect web. GPX/FIT will create two separate track files on the device: one GPX and one FIT. For fitness activities with multiple lap splits, it is recommended users select FIT.
