Losing Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision Features Whenever the SD Card is Removed

When using a BlueChart g3 or g3 Vision card in a Garmin chartplotter, it’s important to note that the card's information is not copied to the internal memory. Instead, the card must remain in the card reader of the device for as long as the user wishes to view the charts and access the additional features.

When the card is removed from the device, the mapping will be reverted to what was originally preloaded to the device, and the g3 Vision-specific features will be removed from the menus.
