microSD Card Recording Modes/Length, Video Resolutions, and File Sizes on the Garmin Dash Cam Tandem

Your Garmin Dash Cam can record video in 720p for the interior lens and 1080p or 1440p for the front lens.

  • The device will record non-stop when powered on

  • The non-protected videos will be overwritten when the microSD card is full

  • Saved videos will not be overwritten

  • The maximum amount of footage that can be recorded or saved on a microSD card depends on the Dash Cam's video resolution setting and the size of the card
