Showing, Hiding, and Deleting Tracks on the Rino 750 and 755t

The Rino® 750 and 755t outdoor handhelds can show saved tracks on the map. 

By default, the Rino handheld's Current Activity tool records the track as an activity, which is saved in the Activity History. A saved activity does not have the option to be shown on the map.

However, the recording method can be changed to the traditional track-based file format: GPX/FIT Output Format. When this is done, the Current Activity will save to the Track Manager which can then be shown on the map.

Changing Output Format

  1. Open the App Drawer to access the menu.
  2. Touch Setup.
  3. Touch Recording.
  4. Touch Advanced Setup.
  5. Touch Output Format.
  6. Select Tracks (GPX/FIT).

Any saved tracks in the Track Manager listed under Favorite Tracks will now give the option to "Show On Map". 


Once the output format has been changed, you can show or hide tracks with the steps below.

Showing Saved Tracks on the Map

These steps display previously recorded tracks.
  1. Open the App Drawer to access the menu.
  2. Touch Track Manager.
  3. Select a saved Favorite Track.
  4. Toggle Show On Map to ON.

The track will now show on the map. 


Hiding the Current Track on the Map

These steps will hide the track that is actively being created.
  1. Open the App Drawer to access the menu.
  2. Touch Current Activity.
  3. Touch  Information Icon.
  4. Touch Show On Map On to toggle it to Show On Map Off.

The track being recorded should no longer show on the map.


Hiding Contact Tracks on the Map

To hide the tracks for a contact from the map, the track for that contact has to be cleared. This can be done from Contacts on the Home Screen, or under Track Manager.

From the Home Screen

  1. Touch Contacts.
  2. Select the contact whose tracks need to be cleared.
  3. Touch Clear Current Track.
  4. Touch Clear.

The tracks for the selected contact should now be removed.

From the Track Manager 

  1. Open the App Drawer.
  2. Touch Track Manager.
  3. Touch Contact Tracks.
  4. Select the contact whose tracks need to be cleared.
  5. Touch Clear Current Track.
  6. Touch Clear.

The tracks for the selected contact should now be removed.


Deleting Tracks

Deleting a track can be done from within the menu of the device. 
  1. Open the App Drawer to access the menu.
  2. Touch Track Manager.
  3. Select the track needing to be deleted.
  4. Touch Menu Icon .
  5. Touch Delete.

The track should now be deleted from the Track Manager.
