Vehicle Odometer Not Matching the Odometer on GPS Device

You can view the odometer on a GPS device by pressing the Speed icon on the map. This page may display a different mileage than what your vehicle's odometer is showing.

This difference could be due to the device not being powered on or not receiving a satellite signal while driving. The device will only log miles you've driven when it is powered on and has a satellite signal.

If the device has been powered on and the mileage is still different, try updating the device's system software wirelessly or in Garmin Express:
