Printer Configuration Error in BaseCamp

In BaseCamp™ software, a printer configuration error may occur when choosing to print. Adjusting the permissions and setting a default printer will resolve this issue.

To Resolve the Error:

1. Press the Windows key + R

2. Type Control

3. Click OK

4. In the View by drop-down, click Category

5. Click View Devices and Printers

6. Right-click on the desired printer to be used

7. Click Set as Default Printer

8. Right-click on the printer again

9. Click Printer Properties

10. Click the Security tab

11. Click the Username of the user who is currently logged in

12. Click the Allow box next to the Print option

13. Click Apply

14. Click OK

Changing the permissions and ensuring there is a default printer will resolve the printer configuration error in BaseCamp software.
