Avoid traffic events on a Kenwood device

When driving in an area that is covered by your device's traffic subscription, you should see a traffic icon (red triangle) appear on the screen when you are approaching traffic. When this icon appears, you may select to avoid the upcoming traffic by following the steps below:

1. Touch the traffic icon
2. Touch an item to avoid
3. Touch Detour Around

This will route you away from the traffic as soon as possible.

Please note that if you have a Kenwood KNA device, you will need to purchase a traffic receiver for the device separately. All other Kenwood devices come with the traffic receiver. To purchase a receiver or a traffic Subscription, please contact Kenwood directly.
