USB Power Overload on a Fusion RV Infotainment System
If the error message USB Power Overload appears on a Fusion RV infotainment system when connecting a USB device such as a phone or external storage to the stereo, the USB input is connected to the wrong port on the back of the stereo.
BBT601
The ports marked in red are the 2 USB ports on the back of the dock. The top port, marked with a 10, is a 500 mA USB port for use only by the manufacturer. The USB input should be connected to the bottom port, marked 11, which is a 2.1 mA USB port.
IN1501, Vieo
The ports marked in red are the 2 USB ports on the back of the dock. The left port, marked with a 6, is a 500 mA USB port for use only by the manufacturer. The USB input should be connected to the right port, marked 7, which is a 2.1 mA USB port.
- If the input is connected to the 500 mA port, remove it and connect it to the 2.1 mA port
- If the input is already connected to the correct port, check that the infotainment system is up to date
