Enabling the Heart Rate Broadcast Mode on the Forerunner 235

You can broadcast your heart rate data from your Forerunner 235 and view it on paired Garmin devices. For example, you can broadcast your heart rate data to a VIRB XE action camera to record heart rate along with the video.

To Enable Broadcast Mode:

1. Use the Up or Down arrows to view the Heart Rate widget.

2. Press and hold the Up button until the menu opens.

3. Select Broadcast Heart Rate.

To Disable Broadcast Mode:

1. Press any button other than Power/Light button to bring up the menu "Exit Broadcast Mode".

2. Select Yes.

NOTE: Broadcasting heart rate data decreases battery life.
