Instructions to hide/show icons on the Main Menu with the Oregon or Dakota

Oregon® and Dakota™ outdoor handhelds feature a Main Menu full of different options and features. To maximize use of the device, it may be necessary to remove unneeded features from the Main Menu until they are needed.

To remove Main Menu buttons:

1. Touch Setup
2. Select Main Menu
3. Touch unnecessary icon(s)
4. Touch Garbage Can

The icon(s) will now disappear and will no longer appear on the Main Menu.

To reinsert the icon(s):

1. Touch Setup
2. Select Main Menu
3. Touch desired icon
4. Touch Plus Sign

The icon(s) will now appear on the Main Menu.
