Differences Between Parking Guard and Parking Mode Features
The Parking Guard feature, when used with the; Parking Mode Cable, Constant Power Cable, or constant power 12 volt (all sold separately), is triggered by impact. See Using the Parking Guard Feature on a Garmin Dash Cam for more information.

The Parking Mode feature, when used with the Parking Mode Cable (sold separately) is triggered by impact and/or motion.
