Garmin Marine Network Sharing Compatibility
Below is a breakdown of the Garmin marine device's ability to transmit and receive information across the Garmin Marine Network. It refers to the built-in functions and features of the chartplotter. It does not include external devices such as radar, sonar modules (GSD, GLS, or GCV), or SiriusXM antennas.
The chartplotters listed will only share with other devices within the same table.
The GCV 10, GCV 20, and GMS 10 have additional Garmin Marine Network ports and will act as a network hub between compatible chartplotters.
For external component sharing capabilities, see External Devices Sharing Over the Garmin Marine Network.

** Chartplotters with built-in Garmin Navionics+ cannot utilize BlueChart g3 supplemental charts.
Examples of Networking Incompatibility
ECHOMAP device cannot share any data with a GPSMAP device
Devices preloaded with charts, including Garmin Navionics+ charts, will not share their preloaded content to networked devices unless the other devices do not have preloaded maps. For example, ECHOMAP Plus 94sv will not share preloaded BlueChart maps with an ECHOMAP UHD 73cv, preloaded with LakeVu maps. However, it will share the preloaded map with an ECHOMAP Plus 72cv, which only has a base map
Sharing supplemental Garmin Navionics+ content from a card can only be done from a chartplotter that supports Garmin Navionics+ to another chartplotter that supports Garmin Navionics+
A chartplotter connected to a UHD transducer can share its sonar with a non-UHD compatible chartplotter. However, the sonar will present itself as if it were coming from a non-UHD transducer
Legacy GPSMAP devices do not share data through Marine Network with current model GPSMAP units
