Roads Disappear When Zooming in to 1.2 Miles or Closer When Using BirdsEye
BirdsEye Satellite Imagery is an image file that overlays on a device's basemap. Satellite imagery is intended to improve the level of detail and functionality of a user’s device.
If satellite imagery is only being used in conjunction with a device's basemap, the detail of the basemap will be hidden when zoomed in at 1.2 miles or below. The detail is removed to minimize any confusion as to where roads are located.
The basemap is designed for general reference purposes, the location of a road may not be as accurate as those found on detailed mapping products (i.e. 24K or City Navigator®). If detail is needed below 1.2 miles, a detailed mapping product needs to be purchased for that region and then loaded or installed to your device.
