GPS 20x NMEA 0183 Support

The GPS 20x will work with other NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) supported devices when using a program that creates a virtual serial port for a connected USB device.

To do this, Garmin recommends using an application called GpsGate. GpsGate is a free, third-party application designed to translate the data from a USB GPS antenna into NMEA 0183 data, for use with other third-party applications and devices.
