Calculate a scenic route on a zumo 400 and 500 series device

To calculate a more scenic route on the zumo without creating a custom route, adjust the avoidances for major interstates and toll roads. This will cause the device to calculate routes on smaller highways and secondary roads, which are generally more scenic. 

To change the Avoidances setting:

1. Touch Tools
2. Touch Navigation
3. Touch Avoidances
4. Touch the Highways, Interstates and Toll Road options to place checkmarks next to them
5. Touch OK to save the changes

After following the above steps, the zumo will avoid larger highways, and should provide routes on smaller, more scenic roads.
