How Do I Edit Contacts in the Garmin Connect App?
NOTE: Watches with voice functionality will not display the name of a contact from an incoming call unless the person is added as a contact in the Garmin Connect™ app
Open the Garmin Connect App
Access the menu by selecting More (bottom right).
Select Contacts.
Select
(top right).Select Choose Phone Contacts or Create Contact.
Agree to accessing the Phone's contact list, if asked.
Select the contacts you want to add.
The maximum number of contacts you can select is 50.
Select Done.
Your Contacts list will reflect anyone that you have added.
Why Do I Need to Add Contacts in the Garmin Connect App?
Adding personal contacts to the Garmin Connect app is an important step to utilize a few different features that Garmin offers with some devices:
Incident Detection and Assistance in order to designate up to three emergency contacts.
Live Event Sharing to share event information with friends and family.
Watches that feature a speaker and microphone to make and receive phone calls will store your Garmin Connect contact library on the watch.
How Do I Remove Contacts in the Garmin Connect App?
Open the Garmin Connect App
Access the menu by selecting More (bottom right).
Select Contacts.
Select the contact you wish you to remove.
Select Edit.
Select Delete.
- Confirm you want to remove the contact.
Your Contacts list will reflect the changes you have made.
Deleting a contact removes it from the features requiring the contact and compatible devices. If this person is a Connection and you want to remove them, see Add and Remove Connections in Garmin Connect
