Editing AutoShot Information With the Garmin Golf App

The Garmin Golf™ app allows you to edit the shot location, edit the club used, type of shot, lay of the ball, and remove shots recorded with the Garmin AutoShot™ feature. 

When reviewing and editing shots, the type of shot is indicated by the colored dot with the yardage next to it. 

  • Yellow - Tee Shot
  • White - Drive Shot
  • Blue - Approach Shot

Editing Shots

This allows you to edit the club used, mark a shot out of bounds, or delete a shot.

  1. Open the Garmin Golf app.
  2. Select Garmin Golf App Android Menu (Android only).
  3. Select Scorecards.
  4. Select a scorecard.
  5. Select a hole from the AutoShot list below the scorecard.

  6. Touch a shot to edit.
    Select Single Shot Garmin Golf App
  7. Make necessary changes on the popup box.
  8. Select Done.

Adding Shots

This can be useful if a shot was not detected by your device during the round.

  1. Open the Garmin Golf app.
  2. Select Garmin Golf App Android Menu (Android only).
  3. Select Scorecards.
  4. Select a scorecard.
  5. Select a hole from the AutoShot list below the scorecard.
  6. Select Plus Sign Icon Garmin Golf App.
  7. Touch location on hole map where you want to place the shot.
  8. Add additional information such as the club used on the popup box.
  9. Select Done.
