Performing a Factory Reset on an inReach SE+ or Explorer+
There are a few instances where it may be necessary to perform a factory reset on an inReach SE®+ or inReach Explorer®+ handheld, including the following:
- Not acquiring a satellite signal, during activation or otherwise
- Restoring the default settings and erasing user data
- Not functioning properly
The steps below should only be used if you cannot access the Settings option of your device. See the owner's manual for how to perform a factory reset via the Settings.
For a device that is not powering on, try a soft reset that does not erase your data first. If that does not resolve the issue, attempt the factory reset.
