The Time on My vivosmart HR Is Wrong
The vivosmart HR receives the time and date that it displays from either the Garmin Connect app on a paired mobile device or from Garmin Express on a personal computer. If the time is incorrect, sync your watch with your preferred platform to update it.
I Completed a Sync but the Time Is Still Wrong
If the time on your watch is not correct after you have completed a sync, this would indicate that the time source setting on the device is set to Manual instead of Auto. To correct this issue, follow these steps:
Press the device key on your vivosmart HR to view the menu.
Swipe and select the gear icon
.
Swipe and select Time.
Swipe and select Set Time.
Select Auto setting.
Press the Device key twice to exit out of the menu.
If the time was set to Manual perform another sync. This should correct the time on your device.
- A sync via the Garmin Connect app should automatically occur once you open the app. If one does not occur, touch the sync icon from the upper right-hand corner of the My Day screen. If you are still unable to sync, review Garmin Connect App Bluetooth Troubleshooting for additional assistance with connecting your paired device with the app.
- If you are encountering an issue with syncing using Garmin Express review the following: Fitness Device Fails to Sync Successfully Using Garmin Express
