What are the differences between the MARQ Expedition and MARQ Adventurer

The Garmin MARQ® Expedition is now the MARQ® Adventurer watch. While the name has changed, the product and all of its functionality remain the same, with no impact on those who purchased the device when it was called the MARQ Expedition watch. You can still rely on MARQ as a modern tool watch that puts smart features, topographic maps and real-time ascent data right at the wrist – still backed by Garmin’s product and customer support.

Q: Does the name change affect my warranty or service? 

A: Your MARQ Expedition watch is backed by the same warranty it had before the name was changed to Adventurer. If replacement service is needed, your replacement will continue to be branded as an Expedition.

Q: Will Garmin programs and applications call my Expedition an Adventurer watch? 

A: Garmin's programs and applications that interact with the Expedition will continue to call the watch an "Expedition". This is to ensure that your experience with the watch remains the same after the name change. 

Q: Will the Adventurer have features the Expedition watch does not have?

A: The Adventurer will have all the same features as the Expedition watch. Only the name will be different. If new features are added to the Adventurer, they will also be added to the Expedition. 

Q: Does the MARQ Adventurer watch hardware differ from the MARQ Expedition?

A: The only difference in hardware is the name printed on the back of the watch. 

Q: Will the MARQ Adventurer watch work with the same accessories as the MARQ Expedition?
