Deleting Saved Tracks and Activities on an Outdoor Handheld

Tracks and activities may need to be deleted from a Garmin Outdoor handheld to free up space, organize data, or because they are no longer needed.

Some devices record to an activity instead of a track by default. Listed below are instructions on how to delete tracks or activities on handhelds:

eTrex® 10, 20, 20x, 22x, 30, 30x, or 32x Outdoor Handhelds

Press the Menu button twice to reach the main menu.
Select Track Manager.
Select the track to be deleted.
Select Delete.
Select Yes.

eTrex® SE Outdoor Handheld

Press / until you reach the main menu.
Select Saved.
Select Activities.
Select the activity to be deleted.
Press OK/.
Select Delete.
Select Yes.

eTrex® Touch Series Outdoor Handhelds

Select Track Manager.
Select the track to be deleted.
Select .
Select Delete.
Select Yes.

GPSMAP® 276Cx Outdoor Handheld

From the main menu, select Track.
Select an option:
- Select FIT.
- Select GPX.
- Select Archive.
Select the track to be deleted.
Select Menu.
Select Delete.
Select Yes.

GPSMAP® 62, 64, and 65 Series Outdoor Handhelds

Press the Menu button twice to reach the main menu.
Select Track Manager.
Select the track to be deleted.
Select Delete.
Select Yes.

From the main menu, select Track Manager.
Select the track to be deleted.
Select Delete.
Select Yes.

GPSMAP® 66, 67, 86, and 79 Series Outdoor Handhelds

Press the Menu button twice to reach the main menu.
Select an option:
- Select Recorded Activities.
- Select Saved Tracks.
Select the track or activity to be deleted.
Press the Menu button.
Select Delete.
Select Yes.

Oregon® 600 and 700 Series Outdoor Handhelds

From the main menu, select an option:
- Select Activity History.
- Select Track Manager.
Select the track or activity to be deleted.
Select .
Select Delete.
Select Yes.

Montana® 600 Series Outdoor Handhelds

Select .
Select Track Manager.
Select the track to be deleted.
Select Delete.
Select Yes.

Montana® 700 Series Outdoor Handhelds

From the main menu, select an option:
- Select Recorded Activities.
- Select Saved Tracks.
Select the track or activity to be deleted.
Select .
Select Delete.
Select Yes.

Rino® 600 Series Outdoor Handhelds

From the main menu, select Track Manager.
Select the track to be deleted.
Select Delete.
Select Yes.

Rino® 700 Outdoor Handheld

From the main menu, select Track Manager.
Select the track to be deleted.
Select Delete.
Select Yes.

Rino® 750 and 755t Outdoor Handhelds

From the app drawer, select an option:
- Select Activity History.
- Select Track Manager.
Select the track or activity to be deleted.
Select .
Select Delete.
Select Yes.
