What Is the Garmin Run Coach Training Plan?

Garmin Run Coach can create a training plan in your Garmin Connect™ account that will send workouts to the watch that adapts to your current fitness level. You can view a week's worth of suggested workouts on the training calendar in Garmin Connect and see a plan overview and progress within the plan. When setting up the plan you can more easily manage your training preferences by selecting the days you want to train or days you prefer to rest.

As your fitness level improves, your workouts will become more challenging so you can continue improving. Your current fitness level (lactate threshold and VO2 Max) determines the target pace, so the suggested workouts will not account for a set target pace. The plan can only take into account a target distance or target time (not both) to determine the target pace within workouts.
