Troubleshoot Broadcast Mode on the Tread and PRO 550 Plus

The PRO 550 Plus has the ability to transmit dog tracking information to the Tread® GPS navigator.

The receiving device can only pick up dog tracking information from a single device but you can transmit to multiple receiving devices at one time. For example, the PRO 550 Plus can transmit to multiple Tread navigators or other compatible devices at the same time.

Follow the Troubleshooting Steps Below if you are Having Trouble with the any of the Broadcast Mode Compatible Devices:

  1. Ensure all devices are on latest software version.
  2. Transmitting device and receiving device must be within 15 feet of each other (closer is recommended for testing and troubleshooting).
  3. Ensure you are actively tracking a compatible dog collar with the handheld.
  4. Ensure only the two devices that should be communicating are on (power off all other transmitting handhelds or disable their Broadcast mode).
    • The Pro 550 Plus always has the Broadcast Mode enabled.
