Features You Can Do in the Drive App When at Your Dash Cam:


Requirements to Connect to the Dash Cam's Internal Wi-Fi to Perform the Above Features:

  • Must be within 30 feet (9.14 meters).
  • Bluetooth must be enabled on your phone.
  • Dash cam cannot be connected to an external Wi-Fi (ex. your home or office Wi-Fi).

It is only possible to view videos and photos when you are with your dash cam.

Access Remote Live View (While I am Away From My Dash Cam)

  • Access Remote Live View is available on the Garmin Dash Cam Live, Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2, and Garmin Dash Cam 47/57/67W series.
  • Access Remote Live View on the Garmin Dash Cam™ X110, Garmin Dash Cam™ X210, Garmin Dash Cam™ X310, and Garmin Dash Cam™ Mini 3 is available with a paid Vault subscription.
  • Remote Live View allows you to access your Garmin dash cam's live camera feed when you are away from your vehicle. 
  • 'Away' or 'remote' from your dash cam is considered to be further than 30 feet (9.14 meters)

How to Set Up and Use Remote Live View:

NOTE: Remote Live View is possible when you are away from your dash cam.  To view videos and photos you must be right with your dash cam.

Activate the Vault to Securely Save Videos

Your saved and exported videos are stored securely in the online Garmin Vault and can be accessed using the Garmin Drive app. This requires an active connection with Wi-Fi. 
Vault is available on the Garmin Dash Cam  X110, Garmin Dash Cam X210. X310, Garmin Dash Cam Live, Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2, Garmin Dash Cam Mini 3, and Garmin Dash Cam 47/57/67W.
