Changing Passwords in a Professional inReach Account

At times, as an account administrator, you may need to change a user's password. There are two methods for changing a user's password in a Professional inReach® account.

IMPORTANT FOR ADMINISTRATORS: Passwords must be set for sub-users before they can sync assigned devices with the Garmin Explore™ app. 


Sending a Password Reset to the User's Email Address

  1. Log in at explore.garmin.com.
  2. Select Groups & Users.
  3. SelectMore Three Dots at the far right of the user's name.
  4. Select Reset Password in the drop-down.

Changing the Password in the Account

  1. Log in at explore.garmin.com.
  2. Select Groups & Users.
  3. Click on the user's name.
  4. Click on Change Password.

  5. Enter the password in the New Password field, and in the Confirm New Password field.
