Use the pin removal tool to push in the watch pin.
Pull gently on the band so that the side of the watch pin you are pushing in on releases and separates from the watch.
If necessary, complete step 1 and step 2 on the other side of the watch, so the band releases from the watch.
Complete steps 1 and 2 on the other watch band strap.

How to Replace the Garmin Descent G1 Watch Bands
The Garmin Descent G1 series offers replaceable watch bands to update the look of your watch or replace a worn or damaged watch band. The Garmin Descent G1 is compatible with QuickFit 22 Watch Bands.1 While the Descent G1 Solar does already include Quickfit Watch bands the Descent G1 will require the below to replace your watch band. Replacement band
When you are ready to replace your watch band follow the steps on removing the watch band or jump straight to the replacing the band itself if you already know how to remove the bands.
Place the watch pin into the new watch band.
Align one side of the new band with the watch pin hole on the watch.
Compress the other side of the watch pin with the pin removal tool and press the watch band into the hole.
Complete steps 1 through 3 for the other watch band side.
NOTE: Make sure the band is secure. The watch pin should align with the holes on the watch.
Use the pin removal tool to push out the watch pin.
Place the watch pin back into the body of the watch.
Attach the Quickfit 22 Watch Band to the watch pin.
