Mass Storage Garmin Outdoor Devices
Most Garmin outdoor devices go into mass storage to communicate with Garmin software applications.
In mass storage mode, the device is recognized by the computer as a drive, similar to thumb drives and other media devices like digital cameras.
USB Mass Storage is the default setting for the following outdoor handhelds, watches, and bow sights:
