Recording and Saving Tracks on a GPSMAP 276Cx

By default, the GPSMAP® 276Cx navigator records a track log automatically while it is on and receiving a GPS signal. You can pause and start track recording manually, and save the active track when needed.

Recording a Track

1. Begin moving to record a track.

2. Press MENU twice to access the main menu.

3. Select Track > Active.

4. Select an option:

   • To pause track recording, select Stop.

   • To start track recording, select Start.

Saving the Active Track

1. Press MENU twice to access the main menu.

2. Select Track.

3. Select an option:

   • Select Save to save the entire track.

   • Press MENU, then select Save Portion to save a portion of the track. A list of track segments will then be presented.

     Select the first track segment to save, then select the last track segment to save.
