Differences in Multi-Controller Interface Functions for the BMW Motorrad Navigator V and VI

The commands available from the motorcycle to the BMW Motorrad Navigator V and VI will vary by model. The various trim levels of BMW motorcycles have different abilities to interface with the Navigator using different equipment. Traditionally the RT, GT, and GTL lines will have limited interface abilities through the instrument cluster. Other models such as the GS line can utilize the Multi-Controller to directly control the functions of the Navigator. 

Some newer models have the ability to toggle control of either the smart TFT instrument cluster or the Navigator VI with a handlebar-mounted switch.

The Navigator has the ability to interface with any of the control methods and does not require different software when switched between different models.
