Customizing the Watch Face on a Descent Mk3 Dive Watch
The Descent™ Mk3 -43 mm, Descent™ Mk3i - 43 mm, and Descent™ Mk3i - 51 mm watches offer the ability to customize what data is displayed on the watch face. The selected watch face may change what can be customized, what options are available, or how the data appears. The instructions below are for customizing the pre-loaded watch faces. Customizing the Watch Face
From the watch face, hold Menu.
Select Watch Face.
Press Up or Down to navigate to other watch faces.
Select Add New if you would like to start from a minimal watch face.
Press Start/Stop, then select an options to customize. All the options below might not be available for all watch faces.
Select Dial to change the style of the numbers for the analog watch face.
Select Hands to change the style of the hands for the analog watch face.
Select Layout to change Layout of fields.
Select Seconds to change the style of the seconds for the digital watch face.
Select Data to change what data options appear.
Select Accent Color to change the color that is adjustable on the watch face.
Select Data Color to change the color of the data that appears on the watch face.
Select Lume to engage a special setting where the numbers or watch hands will glow when the watch is in low light conditions.
Select Alt. Time Zones to set an alternate time zone to display on the watch face.
Select Apply to save changes.

Available Watch Faces
When customizing the data on a watch face, you can touch specific areas of the display to change what data is shown.

This watch face has limited customization. The two right data fields cannot be customized. They are set to Dive Readiness and Sunrise/Sunset gauges.

This watch face is unable to be customized.

This watch face has limited customization. Only the color can be changed.

This watch face has limited customization. The VO2 Max can be toggled between Running and Cycling scores.

Watch Face Data Customization Options
Depending on the watch face you have selected, the data options may look slightly different compared to the examples below. Some watch faces may also include larger graphical data fields for things like VO2 max or Training Status. While on the watch face, touching and holding on a data field will take you to the glance for that data, provided the touchscreen is active.
Universal Time Coordinated
Displays Universal Time Coordinated (UTC).
UTC is the successor to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
Respiration Rate
Describes how often you inhale and exhale in a minute.
Pulse Ox
Display your most recent Pulse Ox reading.
Sunset/Sunrise
Displays Sunset/Sunrise time.
An arrow will point down for sunset and up for sunrise.
Steps
Displays daily step count.
Floors Climbed
Displays floors climbed for that day.
Recovery Time
Displays the number of hours left on recovery time.
Status Icons
Displays icons when alarms, Do Not Disturb mode, phone connection, or headphone connection are active.
Notifications
Displays the number of notifications.
Notifications number will not be cleared until they are cleared from the phone.
Intensity Minutes
Displays the number of intensity minutes generated for the current week.
Weekly Running Total
Displays distance of all running activities for the current week, except Trail Run.
Weekly Cycling Total
Displays distance of all cycling activities for the current week.
Heart Rate
Displays the reading taken from the optical heart rate sensor (OHR).
The OHR sensor must be on to get a reading.
Day and Month
Displays the current calendar date and month.
Weekday and Day
Displays the current calendar date and day of the week.
Calories Burned
Displays total calories burned for the day.
Calendar Notifications
Displays the time of the next calendar notification.
Battery Life
Displays the remaining battery life.
Can display days remaining or percentage.
Barometer trending line and the barometer reading
Will display the current barometer pressure in millibars.
The barometer trend line considers the last 6 hours, broken into two 3 hour segments. If there is a 2.3 millibar change over the 3-hour segment, the line will curve up or down depending on the direction of change.
Altimeter Reading
Displays the current altimeter reading.
Weather High and Low Temperatures
Displays the high and low temperatures for the current day's forecast.

Displays the current weather.
Body Battery™
Displays your current Body Battery reading.
Training Readiness
Displays your current Training Readiness.
VO2 Max Estimate Score
Displays the most recent VO2 Max Estimate score.
HRV Status
Displays your last night's HRV.
Dive Readiness
Displays a Dive Readiness score that can help you decide whether you are ready to dive.
No Fly Time
Displays your remaining no-fly time.
Surface Interval
Displays amount of time that has elapsed since the completion of the last dive.
NOTE: If you delete one of the pre-loaded watch faces, the watch will have to be reset back to default settings to recover the watch face. See your owner's manualfor information about how to reset your watch to default settings.
