APG’s Runway Analysis Feature Through FltPlan.com
- Click on the Performance tab to access the performance section. Here, select your departure runway and click ER. This will provide the emergency return analysis data like weight, landing distance, speeds, etc.
- Select the Use METAR button to insert current weather, or enter expected values for "Wind Dir / Speed", "Temperature", and "Altimeter".
- Select your Flap Setting and select Options for takeoff such as "EEC Inop", "wet runway", "snow", etc.
- After these settings are selected, click the Compute button and the values for takeoff weight, thrust setting, and level off altitude are displayed under the "Departure Analysis".
Once the departure analysis is complete, select an Arrival Runway and select Use METAR or enter the expected weather values. Select your Flap Setting and select your applicable Options for the arrival runway.
After entering these settings, click Compute and the values for Landing limit weight, landing distance, etc. are entered into Arrival Analysis. Data for METAR, TAF and NOTAMS for Takeoff and Landing airports are listed below the Analysis.
Once all values are entered, click on Generate Report and enter an email address for the report to be sent to. If you leave the Email address section blank, it will generate a PDF report.
The last tab is the CG tab, which will show you the calculation of the Center of Gravity envelope.
Back on the WB tab, click Generate Release to enter PIC, SIC or other release data. Enter an email address to send the report, or leave blank to generate a PDF.
