Creating, Editing, Or Deleting a Route On A zumo 450 or zumo 550

Creating a multiple-point route allows navigation among several points. Routes can be saved to the device's internal storage for use at a later date.

To create a route:

1. Touch Where to?

2. Touch Routes

3. If no previous routes have been created, touch Yes when the prompt appears asking if you'd like to create one. If previous routes have already been created, touch New

4. Touch Add New Start Point. (Note that the Start Point is not necessarily the point from where you'll be leaving. The Start Point will be the first point you would like to travel to).

5. Use the various search functions to find and touch the desired starting point

6. Touch Select

7. Touch Add New Start Point or Add New End Point to add a second point

8. Follow steps 5 and 6 to locate and add the second point

9. Add up to 200 total points by touching Add New Start Point, Add New End Point or 

• Touching  will add a destination in between the two points indicated
• Remove points by touching  next to the point(s) you want to remove

10. Touch Map once all desired points have been added. The device will calculate the route and display it on the map preview screen. The route will automatically be saved.

Once the route has been saved, it may be edited as desired. The device can optimally reorder the points or they can be manually reordered. The route may also be deleted.

To edit or delete a route:

1. Touch Where to?
2. Touch Routes
3. Touch the route that you would like to edit
4. Touch Edit (skip this step on some devices)
5. Select from the following options:
   • Change Name: Customize the name of the saved route as it appears within the Routes menu
   • Add/Remove Points: Add or remove destinations to the saved route
   • Manual Reorder: Manually select the order to be routed to all the entered points
   • Optimal Order: Have the device calculate the most optimum order in which to travel to all the entered points.
     • Note: The start point and end point will remain as entered and will not be changed when optimized.
   • Recalculate: If navigation settings have been changed or a map update has been completed, select this option to have the device recalculate the route
   • Delete: This appears as a button at the bottom of the screen rather than a menu item. This will permanently remove the route from the Routes list.

When the route has been edited to your satisfaction, touch Go! to proceed with navigation.
