Searching for Tides on a GPSMAP 62, 64, or 65 Series Device

Tide station information includes the tide height, and when the next high and low tides will occur. If you would like to find Tide Information for your area, you will need to select the nearest Tide Station to your location on your GPSMAP® 62, 64, or 65 series handheld device. There is also the option to view the tide information on a different date, as well as viewing a chart that shows the height of the tides throughout the day.

Viewing Tide Information

1. Press FIND
2. Select Tides from the menu
3. Select the closest Tide Station¹
4. Press the MENU
5. Select Review Point to view the Tide Information at that Tide Station for today
6. Press the MENU again and select Show Chart to show the Tide Chart
7. Press the MENU and select Change Date to select a different date to view the tide information on that date.
   • Use the left and right arrows to change the date and press ENTER to select that date.

¹The device will list US Tide Stations within a 200-mile radius and they will be listed by their proximity to your location. The nearest Tide Station will be at the top of the list. If needed, the "Search Near" function can be used to change the search location (see Viewing Distant Points of Interest or Addresses on a GPSMAP 62, 64, or 65 Series).
