(2023) Service Bulletin 23106 Rev A: Corrective Action for G1000 King Air 200 and 300 Series Aircraft with CVR Interface
PRODUCTS AFFECTED:
NOTE
This bulletin applies to installations that were excluded from Garmin STC Service Bulletin 22095 Rev C.
Textron Aviation Inc. (Beechcraft) King Air models 200, 200C, B200, B200C, B200GT, B200CGT, 300, 300LW, B300, and B300C aircraft equipped with G1000 NXi Integrated Flight Deck installed per STC SA01535WI-D are affected if the following applies:
- System Software Version 2286.07 thru 2286.12
- Optional 3rd party cockpit voice recorder (CVR) is interfaced to the Garmin G1000 audio system
- GMA™ 1360D audio panels installed, AND
- Any of the following legacy units
- GIA 63W Integrated Avionics Unit
- GRS 77 AHRS
- GDC 74B Air Data Unit
NOTE
G1000 Legacy configurations (system software version 0985.01 and later) are not affected by this service bulletin regardless of 3rd party CVR installation status.
NOTE
G1000 NXi configurations (system software version 2286.01 thru 2286.06) are not affected by this service bulletin regardless of 3rd party CVR installation status.
NOTE
G1000 NXi configurations (system software version 2286.07 thru 2286.12) that use the GMA 1347D audio panels are also not affected by this service bulletin.

COMPLIANCE:
MANDATORY: STC Service Bulletin 23106 must be accomplished at the next maintenance interval or biennial inspection, no later than May 31, 2024.
DOCUMENTATION CONSIDERATIONS:
Airplane Flight Manual Supplements, Cockpit Reference Guides, and Pilot Guides are retained for this installation with the following exception which is updated with MDL 005-00421-00 Revision 37 for content unrelated to this service bulletin.

PURPOSE:
Cross-side audio is not provided by GMA™ #1 to the optional third-party CVR. This service bulletin approves G1000 CVR Supplemental Card 006-B2286-9F as a required corrective action for this CVR interface non-compliance issue.
WARRANTY INFORMATION:
This Service Bulletin is warranty reimbursable with a deadline of April 30, 2024.
