The Time on My vivosmart 3 is Wrong

The vivosmart 3 updates the time when you sync with the Garmin Connect app on a smartphone or from Garmin Express on a personal computer. It is important that the time and date are correct on your smartphone or computer before syncing your device.

  • A sync via the Garmin Connect app should automatically occur once you open the app. If one does not occur, touch the sync icon Two arrows circling each other from the upper right corner of the My Day screen. I Synced My Device and My Time Is Still Wrong

This may indicate that the time setting on the device is set to Manual instead of Auto. To correct this issue, take the following steps:

  1. Double tap the screen to wake it up.

  2. Hold the touchscreen to view the menu.

  3. Select Gear icon.

  4. Select Clock icon.

  5. Select Set Time.

  6. Select Auto.

If the time was set to Manual perform another sync. This should correct the time on your device.
