Maintenance and Care of Your Trainer

Wheel-on trainers do not require much maintenance. It is however, very important to keep the roller on the trainer where the tire makes contact clean from any rubber residue that might build up. 

Tire Maintenance

We recommend the use of a trainer tire, which should be replaced on a yearly basis due to the likelihood of the trainer tire drying out over the course of a year. Normal treaded tires can cause heating issues which may result in the metal plate coming loose from the roller.
