Using a Bluetooth Dongle/Adapter with a zumo Device

Garmin cannot guarantee compatibility with any Bluetooth Dongles or Adapters. See the info below if you are trying to use a Bluetooth Dongle or Adapter.

  • There may be situations where Music will play properly, but navigation prompts will not
  • You can check the Bluetooth Settings on the zumo to see if the paired Dongle or Adapter shows both the Music and Headset icons highlighted
    • If the headset icon is not highlighted, there is no channel for it to communicate with, resulting in no navigation prompts
