Collecting Logs from the zumo Radar App
The zūmo® Radar app can create a set of log files to send to Product Support.
These files contain information allowing Product Support to identify the issue and provide a resolution in a timely manner.
These may be requested by Product Support when working to resolve an issue.
Whether or not your device is able to connect to the zūmo Radar app, you may still collect necessary logs.
To do this:
1. When paired with your phone and zūmo™ R1 Radar Motorcycle Radar, open the zūmo Radar app
2. Touch the Wrench icon in the upper right-hand corner
3. Touch About
4. Tap the App Version field repeatedly, at least 10 times until you see a new screen titled Report an Issue or Bug
6. In the Recipient line, type product.support@garmin.com
Enter the case number provided by Product Support and include this in your email
7. Optional: Add any comments you wish to make in the description box
8. Touch Send
9. On Android Phones: Select your preferred email app. Skip this step on iPhone
10. Touch the send button
If you are Unable to Pair the Device to the zūmo Radar App, you can Send Logs Without Pairing a Device:
1. Open the zūmo Radar app
2. While the zūmo Radar app searches for a zūmo R1 Radar, tap zūmo Radar at the top repeatedly, at least 10 times until you see a new screen titled Report an Issue or Bug
3. In the Recipient line, type product.support@garmin.com
Enter the case number provided by Product Support and include this in your email.
4. Optional: Add any comments you wish to make in the description box
5. Touch Send
6. On Android Phones: Select your preferred email app. Skip this step on iPhone
7. Touch the send button
