TruSwing Accuracy Issues

The TruSwing™ sensor can be mounted on most golf clubs to record and provide swing analysis including swing tempo, speed, club-path and critical club angles. When issues arise with recording or analysis accuracy there are a few troubleshooting steps to follow. Note: You must make contact with a ball when swinging to record useful swing analysis data.

Most TruSwing sensor recording and accuracy issues result from improper sensor mounting on the golf club. If the sensor is not mounted properly it will not provide correct information and makes it difficult for the sensor to record swings.1

Other issues can result from out of date operating software on the sensor, software updates are periodically released to help improve the performance of the sensor. It would be recommended to connect the device to a computer and perform a software update. 2

Any remaining issues will likely result from incorrect left/right handedness settings for the sensor. Pairing the sensor with a mobile device through Garmin Connect™ Mobile or registering in Garmin Express™ software will prompt which hand is dominant, otherwise you can change the settings manually in Garmin Connect web and Garmin Connect mobile.
