Enabling Spoken Audio Prompts in Garmin Connect Mobile

By pairing an Audio Prompt capable device with Garmin Connect Mobile, you can receive spoken audio alerts from your device via your smartphone's speaker, connected Bluetooth speaker, or connected Bluetooth headset. 

Configurable alerts include Lap Alerts, Power Alerts (for power meter compatible devices), Pace/Speed Alerts, and Heart Rate Alerts.

To enable Audio Prompts in Connect Mobile:

Android:

1. Open Connect Mobile
2. Touch  from the upper left hand corner
3. Touch Garmin Devices
4. Touch the device name
5. Touch Device Settings
6. Touch Audio Prompts
7. Touch the desired Audio Prompt type (i.e. Power Alerts)
8. Touch toggle switch to Enable.
   
9. Adjust additional settings, if applicable.
   
10. Back out of Device Settings and allow your device to sync successfully.
    

iOS:

1. Open Connect Mobile
2. Touch More from the bottom right hand corner
3. Touch Garmin Devices
4. Touch the device name
5. Touch Device Settings
6. Touch Audio Prompts
7. Touch the desired Audio Prompt type (i.e. Power Alerts)
   
8. Touch toggle switch to Enable
   
9. Adjust additional settings, if applicable
   
10. Back out of Device Settings and allow your device to sync successfully
    

Note: Audio Prompt Alert Levels can be adjusted using the Volume keys on your phone.
