How to Prepare a Fusion® Stereo Update Using Mac

Manual software updates for Fusion® stereos can be prepared on Mac computers by following these steps:

  1. Visit the Garmin Support Center at https://support.garmin.com

  2. Enter the device name or serial number to search for and select the device

  3. Select Software on the left side of the page

  4. Select Download to begin downloading the update file

  5. Open the downloaded file and an updates folder will be created

  6. Drag the updates folder to the USB flash drive under Locations

  7. Open the USB flash drive to confirm the updates folder is present

  8. Select the eject button to the right of the USB Flash Drive name under locations to safely remove the USB Flash Drive

The USB Flash Drive is now ready to use to update the Fusion stereo software.
