Navionics Boating: Stopping Applications from Running in Background

Apple/iOS with a Home button

1. From the Home screen, quickly press the Home button (located at the bottom) twice.
2. Swipe right or left to find the Navionics Boating app.  
3. Close: Scroll through the list of apps, hold the Boating app and then swipe it up and off the screen.

Apple/iOS without a Home button

1. From the Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle of the screen.
2. Swipe right or left to find the Navionics Boating app.  
3. Swipe up on the Boating app's preview to close it. 

Android

1. While in the Navionics Boating app, Tap the Back button on your device and Tap OK when asked if you want to quit the application.
2. Press the Home button or tap the Recents button to show running apps.
3. Swipe, X out of the Boating app preview.

NOTE: The steps to stop applications from running in the background may differ depending on the model of your Android device.
