The Time on My vívoactive HR Is Not Correct

The date and time displayed on your vívoactive® HR watch is received from the Garmin Connect™ app on your phone or from the Garmin Express™ program on your computer. If the time on your watch is not correct after you have completed a sync with either of these programs, this would indicate that the time setting on the device is set to Manual instead of Auto. To correct this issue, take the following steps:

Set Time to Auto:

  1. Hold the right side button to access the menu.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Select System.

  4. Select Time.

  5. Select Time Source.

  6. Confirm or select Auto.

  7. Sync to save changes.

If the date or time is still wrong, acquire GPS signal by starting an outdoor activity on your watch. For instructions refer to your owner's manual.
