Initializing the Oregon 200/300/400t/400c/400i/450/450t/550/550t

The first time you power on your Oregon® 200, 300, 400c, 400i, 400t, 450, 450t, 550, or 550t outdoor handheld you will need to acquire the GPS signal. 

1. Go outdoors to an open area, away from tall buildings and trees. 
2. Turn on the Oregon. Acquiring satellites signals can take a few minutes. 

The    bars on the Main page indicate satellite strength. When the bars are green, the Oregon has acquired satellite signals.
